Hardwood Chassis

Spruce up your projects with these solid hardwood chassis boxes. An assortment of
sizes to choose from. Currently available in Walnut and Alder. All chassis include solid hardwood boxes, with 8-32 threaded inserts in each
corner (top and bottom), a .090" brushed aluminum top panel and a .060" brushed aluminum bottom panel. The top and bottom panels are pre-punched
in each corner for the mounting screws.
The boxes possess a beveled edge around the top perimeter and are provided unfinished
and sanded to 150. You can oil them, stain them, lacquer or paint them to your desired appearance. The aluminum panels can be anodized,
powder coated or painted.
We have two different sizes: Chassis 2 and Chassis 3.

Chassis 2 pictured below measures 13" x 10.25" x 3.0" (33cm x 26cm x 7.6cm).
Inside dimensions are 11.25" x 8.50" x 2.75" (28.5cm x 21.6cm x 7.0cm). The top and bottom aluminum panel dimensions are 11.75" x 9.0" (29.8cm x
22.85cm).
Each chassis box includes a top and bottom aluminum panel with 8-32 threaded inserts
installed in each corner. Eight (8) black 8-32 button head screws and four (4) rubber feet are sold separately. |

Chassis 3 pictured below is a larger box. It can be used as a stereo
amplifier chassis or a large monoblock chassis. It measures 17.25" x 11.0" x 2.5" (43.8cm x 27.9cm x 6.4cm). Inside dimensions are
15.5" x 9.50" x 2.25" (39.4cm x 24.1cm x 5.7cm). The top and bottom aluminum panel dimensions are 16.0" x 10.0" (40.6cm x 25.4cm).
Each chassis box includes a top and bottom aluminum panel with 8-32 threaded inserts
installed in each corner. Eight (8) black 8-32 button head screws and four (4) rubber feet are sold separately. |

New - Access Panels Two different type panels are now available. You
can attach these panels to the rear of your chassis box and use them to mount power switches, IEC connectors, rcas and binding posts.
The gray panel above is surplus stock from our old Apollo amplifiers. It has silkscreened text on the back but you can expose the non-text side or
repaint the panels to the color of your choice. This panel includes a hole for a standard sized panel mount fuseholder and a hole for an IEC power
connector. The panel has six small mounting holes for which you can use woodscrews to attach it to your chassis. Dimensions are 1.90" x
7.50". $5.00 each. Order below part number: PANEL1
The black panel above is new stock with a black powder coat finish. This panel
includes a hole for a small miniature toggle switch (on-off), a hole for an IEC power connector, a hole for a single RCA connector and holes for a pair
of Binding posts. Cardas or Vampire connectors will fit in these holes. This panel is really intended to be used on a monoblock. The panel
has six small mounting holes for which you can use woodscrews to attach it to your chassis. Dimensions are 1.90" x 7.50". $12.00 each. Order
