Hookup Wire

On this page you will find a nice assortment of hookup wire.  Except for the buss bar wire, all of the hookup wire we sell is Teflon^TM insulated.  Teflon is the preferred insulation due to its highly desirable electrical properties and its resistance to heat.

 The high copper prices have driven the cost of this wire up through the roof so we will have to wait a little longer before we order more.  It's a very nice wire but it's not a $3 per foot wire!

Teflon^TM Insulated 18ga. silver-plated solid High Purity Copper hookup wire. High temperature Teflon^TM coating will not melt or shrink while soldering. Great for point-to-wiring in preamps and amplifiers. 18 gauge  $1.50 per foot.  (Unless you specify otherwise, we reserve the right to substitute a wire color for one that may not be in stock at the time you order.)

Non-Insulated High Purity Copper wire.  Recommended for establishing low impedance, low noise ground returns in preamps and amps. 18 gauge silver-plated wire for  $0.85 per foot and 14 gauge silver-plated copper wire for  $1.15 per foot.
