PS5A Power Supply

The PS5A kit is a high quality dual-mono unregulated power supply intended for use with low voltage solid state circuits. In the past we've used it in our Reveille Phonostage and Reveille Active Crossover. It can also be used with our new Active Crossover Module as well as the MiniAmp and HybridX Linestage kits that we sell. The PS5A supplies two channels (dual-mono) +/-28V @ 1A of unregulated dc voltage and thus is typically utilized with audio circuits incorporating onboard voltage regulation.

Each channel uses a potted Avel Lindberg toroid transformer, Schottky rectifier diodes, followed by 4,000uf of ultra low impedance filter capacitance.

The circuit board is double-sided with solder mask and silkscreen printing. The board has provisions for separate on-off swtiches for each channel as well as individual LED indicators.
