Please note that delivery on kits can run 1-3 weeks depending upon our backlog of
orders.
A quick note on assembled units: Assembled units only cost an
extra $350 so at this price you're getting a Smokin' Deal compared to a comparable piece of equipment found at your local high end store. Sorry,
but we do not offer an audition period for assembled units....the kit builders don't get one so why should you? Assembled units are considered a custom
job for us as we build your amp as we receive your order, therefore payment is required in advance and cancellations are not allowed. Delivery
time on assembled units is typically 3-4 weeks so your patience is appreciated. All assembled units have a 2 year warranty except for the tubes.

everything required to build a pair of monoblocks including a pair of Alder hardwood chassis with black anodized aluminum plates, ultra-fast rectifier
diodes with snubber network, JJ and Elna electrolytic capacitors, ASC Oil Ultrapath cap, Cardas binding posts and rca jacks, solid core Teflon coated
hookup wire, Dale metal film resistors, Hammond high voltage power supply chokes, ElectraPrint plate chokes and, IEC power connector with detachable

As with all Welborne Labs kits, you receive a well made professional looking product. The DRD amps are
comprised of solid hardwood chassis with thick aluminum top plates for extra strength and reduced vibration. All versions of the DRD amplifiers
are stocked with the renowned Electra-Print output transformers. Our power transformers are custom made, in the U.S.A., to Welborne Labs' exact
specifications and specifically designed to operate quiet and cool for extended periods of time. These transformers aren't the wimpy things you
find on other kits that buzz and run hot to the touch....these power transformers are massive weighing in at over 10 lbs. each with additional
laminations incorporated to operate vibration free even at 50Hz. These power transformers are designed to operate at all voltages: 100, 110, 115, 230
and 240V at both 50 and 60 cycles. In fact, each monoblock weighs in at 25 lbs. (11kg)!
Our amps cost more, but that is because we don't skimp on parts quality at Welborne Labs and then later try
to sell you upgrades to improve the performance. We use only high quality components like Vishay/Dale, Caddock, Elna, Solen, Cardas, Vampire, ASC, Mills,
Electra-Print Audio and others. Our kits include EVERYTHING you need to complete the project like TEFLON hookup wire, detachable power
cords, mounting hardware, super high quality turret boards and solder! Read our competitor's fine print before you buy.
